Anyone have any of there overclocked temperature tables handy. Or links to
I'm running at 50°C at idle 60°C burn overclocked from 2.4 GHz to 2.7 = 10%
60 is very close to max of 65 but I'm not sure if I can believe the onboard
thermometer. If I feel the copper base of the Arctic Cooler it's only warm
at 60 I would of thought it would of been really hot to the touch.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Re: Athlon 64 3800+ Venice Temperatures
I'm gladly to say i got the same results with the same cpu.
Well,at full load that is,idle my cpu runs around 45C.
This is with amd standard heatsink+fan.
My stock temps are around 34C. so it's approx 10/15 celcius hotter when
overclocking to 2.7Ghz
My ati x850 ran at 75c. in the summer, that's pretty hot to touch, couldn't
keep my finger on for long.
Rule of thumb = when you can keep your finger on it's pretty safe to
use, unless the heatsink is fitted improperly, but then it stays cool.
