hi to everybody!

i would like to put some html text over a svg image. there's the
direttive z-index in css that let you put objects over or under the
others overriding the default positioning. svg is an embedded tag in my
html. i used the z-index direttive but it doesn't want to work, simply
ignore my css position and put html text down the svg.
why? how i could succeded? is an embedded svg image like any other
object or not?

thanks to anyone

Wrap the text you want to put over your image in a div, then make sure you
assigned the div (or any other block-level element, actually) the css
setting "position: absolute".

If your SVG is being rendered by a plugin, usually browsers will put it at
the highest posible z-order and there's nothing you can do about it.
