You can do this by processing the site's log files (access logs) or by
embedding some logic in your web documents, such as using SSI (Server
Side Includes), adding it to any dynamic pages, such as PHP pages, or
solution for browser-side.
methods (for browser side) are the least accurate, so use something
with the logs (the most accurate), or something with SSI/PHP (or
whatever language you have your web documents serve up data from).
