If you installed something downloaded from the internet - e.g. downloaded
and ran a self-extracting .exe file that used some temporary files.
Downloading and saving the file and then running it usually results in any
files within an install program to be extracted to the directory of your
choice, or to the windows temp directory. Running the program from the net
(selecting "open" instead of "save", will sometimes result in the temp file
being extracted to the internet temp directory.
Some anti-virus subscription programs that download updates automatically
use the Internet Temp files directory.
