Sorry, but I don't think this is possible. Sending arbitary email from
client's machines would be considered an invasion of privicy anyway.
Why not put a tiny, invisible image on the page, hosted on a box you have
access to? A 1pixel square transparent gif is less than a k, so a desktop
computer would do as the server and if it wen't down the users won't miss
