rate this thread
site for which I have no control over it's HTML. When a link is clicked on
the frame containing the external HTML I want the new page to replace the
frameset i.e Target="_top" but currently the link opens the page within the
frameset in the bottom frame ("mainFrame"). .
I have tried:
<frame src="http://www.thispage.com/external.html " name="mainFrame"
id="mainFrame" target="_top" />
and in the <Head> section:
<base target=_top />
but the links always still open in the bottom ("mainFrame").
Is there anyway around this?
