9 or QuickTime version of the file to download.
http://www.easydesktopyoga.com/download.html , and two other pages where the
link is embedded.
When the user clicks on the QT file download there is no indication of it
downloading(even though it is) and doesn't give the user a choice of where
to download it so he or she can look at it off line. How can I remedy this?
Also the Windows Media 9 file plays in the media player but doesn't give a
choice of where to download it.
Thanks in advance.
Re: Download Video Question
That will exclude quite a few people.
Why create separate pages that attempt to embed the player? The
accessible way of providing multi media is to choose a non proprietary
file format with streaming as the default (using redirector files) with
an option to download.
That is a problem of your browser configuration, you can change that on
your computer, but it's not relevant to clients.
Provide 2 links, one to the redirector file, and another to the real
media file, add a bit of text to the latter link saying "right click -
save as to download" if you want.
