Hi

someone knows the way to keep the custom fields of the address book of
symbian of nokia 6680 to export it to some third parts software
(something that allows the custom label) ?

Some methods, some formats?

I exported my contacts in csv (with aprogram for nokia) but i did not
find yet any software for wm5 that imports my modified label.

Outlook supports custom fields but it doesen't import.

some help?

fabrizio

Hi,
Did you try importing the data into Outlook and then mapping the custom
fields to fields that sync with Windows Mobile?

Hi, thanks for answered.
I syncronized my nokia address book
I used nokia pc suite to syncronize my device's addressbook just with
outlook 2007
then I opened outlook 2007 and I sow that many value have been put in
the wrong field (office in fax and so on),
but the worst is that many custom field have been lost.
Now I don't undestad quite what you mean with "mapping" (sorry for my
english).
I 'm be afraid that the only way is by hand for every single contact :
(
I got near 400 contacts and so it'll be very hard, without consider my
human errors

Proceding with that neverending data entry:
I want use some software that allows custom field, it's so usefull for
me.
I find addressbook 2 by inesoft.
That software take data frome the native addressbook of WM5 and so the
syncronization have to pass necessarily by it.

The native addressbook desen't allows the custom field.
And so I'm looking for a software that
-leave me to custom fields
-have independent syncronization frome native adderssbook
-can export data in some format like csv

some help?

Hi,
Try exporting the data from Outlook 2007 into a CSV file. Then import it
again. This will allow you to map the fields.
