Have a look at these;

don't go doing anything rash but see if anything in there strikes a
chord. Don't forget both Adrienne and myself thought TCP/IP problem
when we read your stuff, I still think we may be on the right lines.

Well, I dont get any error messages that are mentioned, but I have now
established that the fault can happen on other search engines, not
just Google. I will look at this next I think.
