 'SP3 for Windows XP Home Edition/XP Professional is currently planned
for 1H CY2008. This date is preliminary.'

I'm just waiting for the announcement:

"Due to the overwhelming success of Microsoft Vista, the most successful OS
in Microsoft history, we have determined that there is no need for XP SP3"

or something to that effect.
