Greetings,

My brother in law is looking to improve his advise website regarding
stocks.

He needs:

1) to accept credit cards for subscribers.

2) post charts

3) send emails (maybe.... why would he if they just log-on?)

4) Have subscribers chat online.

I have been told that blogs are not the way to go. Too bad, so simple.
Isn't there some out of box software that will get him most of the way
there?

Thanks! Tor

Bit off-topic for here, but no matter. The magic term to go searching on
is Content Management System. A CMS can include a blog but is usually
more than that. My crystal ball suggests he'll probably be looking for
an Open Source CMS. Try http://www.opensourcecms.com/

Be aware that while wheeling in one of these is considerably easier than
writing it yourself, choosing one and getting it set up is still a
substantial piece of work.
