Greetings,
I relocated our SBS 2003 server to our new office and changed the private IP
from 172.x.x.x to .10.x.x.x. NO other changes were made to the server.
Wireless AvtiveSync performed flawlessly prior to the change, so that must be
the cause of the malfunction. Here is what is NOT causing this:
- Our cert is a paid DigiCert product and is valid
- OWA works fine and it uses the same cert
- This is not a firewall issue. I can see the sync request hit our SBS box
- It is not my mobile device. My VS1 emulator gives me the same error
ActiveSync on the mobile device give me this error:
- ActiveSync encountered a problem on the server. Support code: 0x85010014
OMA also fails with this error:
- A system error has occured while processing your request. Please try
again. If the problem persists, contact your administrator
There were many hits regarding error code 0x85010014, but none mentioned
anything about IP changes to the SBS server or even a standard Exchange
server. I think this is some IIS issue related to what IP a site listens on,
but I'm out of magic tricks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
