WindowsSearchFilter.exe Consuming CPU JPinSL 08-18-2006

 Several times a day, WindowsSearchFilter.exe will consume 100% of CPU
utilization for a while (about ten minutes) then return to normal. I have un-
and re-installed both WDS 2.06.5000.5378 and Windows Search Deskbar (same
ver.) and rebuilt the index. The problem still occurs. Prioritized indexing
is turned off.

Anyone else have this problem or know of a solution.

I'm about to unistall WDS forever if this keeps up.

Check to see if your version of MDAC is old or corrupted.
