HI I have Vista business 32bit and managed to synchronise with my iMate
JasJar then after about a week it has stopped synchronising giving me an
active sync error,
When I go to
->control panel
-> programs and features
Active sync icon is there but without any details and I cannot remove,
uninstall or anything.

Has anyone else come across this? If so any ideas?

Cheers

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

What is the error message that you receive when you attempt to synchronize?
Just to be certain - Are referring to the Windows Mobile Device Center under
the Programs & Features program listing? ActiveSync was never made
available for Vista since WMDC replaced it. Under the Programs listing you
can right-click the program and select to repair the installation if that is
what you are looking for.

Hi Raj,

I have similar situation where WMDC says Error when it starts after
recognizing device connection, but there is no error information displayed.
Where do I find the error message. (I have restored my device from back, I've
tried wiping it to factory default, it's obviously not the device, has to be
the WMDC) In my case I have been able to uninstall it and reinstall, but I
end up at the same place again.

Thanks. Nagui
