Hello Pros:

I am receiving an error message when my computer boots.

The message is that D:\Setup.Exe can't be found. This was caused by a
computer glitsch while attempting to install some software. D is a CD drive,
thus the file is not available.

What is your suggestion to overcome this problem at boot up time?

Thanks, Patrick

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Startup Programs Tracker. This
utility will show you what's loading, or trying to, at startup and where its
loading from. The included Help has information on how to remove undesired
entries.

Have you tried putting the CD from the failed program installation back into
the drive before you boot your computer the next time? Apparently the
failed installation is still trying to read something from it which is very
common with software installations since some of them do not complete until
the computer is rebooted.
