I can open the program, but as soon as i try and add anything to the
filmstrip it suddenly closes the program. Ive heard of this divxaf.ax file,
but i cannot locate it on my computer do rename or delete. Are there any
other solutions, this is driving me crazy.
Ive also purchased Pinnacle Studio 12 and installed that, but as soon as i
play the video (which ive added music to) the video plays for maybe 2
seconds, then freezes but the music continues.. any suggestions there??
I dont have much luck with video editing software apparently =)

Have you considered that the DVR-MS file you are trying to edit is copy
protected. I don't mean read only.

In the media center interface look at the file info for that file. If it
says protected yes, you can not edit or play that DVR-MS file in anything
except the Media Center that recorded it.

This group is for Windows Media Center discussion, I would suggest reposting
to windowsxp.moviemaker.
