I have a Cingular 3125 phone running Windows Mobile 5.0. I added a SanDisk 2
GB MicroSD Flash memory card which is installed under the SIM chip nehind
the battery. I use Windows Media Player 10 to synchronize my MP3 files.
About 250 songs fit onto the memory card.

I have successfully played music from the memory card using the phone.

However, periodically (and under conditions I seem unable to duplicate), the
device displays Error 0X80070003. I believe the device is somehow losing the
connection to the memory card. As a result, Media Player no longer "sees"
the MP3 files (which just two seconds earlier it was playing). This causes
Media Player to essentially freeze. When I reboot the device, the memory
card is once again available and Media Player works fine.

I checked the File Manager after I received the most recent Error
0X80070003. The storage card was not visible, which causes me to surmise
that the problem is not caused by Media Player, but, rather, that Media
Player is a victim of a larger problem having to do with the phone's
connection to the storage card.

It is possible, although this is just a guess, that inserting or removing
the headphones is somehose causingthis problem. Again, that's just a shot in
the dark - I can't really seem to duplicate it the problem at will.

Anyone else seen this? Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have the same phone and also just added a SanDisk 2 GB MicroSD Flash
memory card and have added and played the music but have not had any
error message...yet.

I'll play around with it today and let you know if I get an error
message.

I played around most of the day with the phone and the headphones and
did not once have the problem you described or for that matter any
problem.
