Hi,

I've somehow managed to change my menus to letters rather than numbers

eg. now instead in settings

1 Phone
2 Sounds
3 Profiles
4 Home Screen

it now says

A Phone
B Sounds
C Profiles
D Home Screen

and also the menus have accelerators on them eg in Contacts

&New Contact
N&ew SIM contact
&Beam Contact etc...

Any idea how this happened and how to change it back.

Kind Regards

Rich

Problem came after you paired the phone with a bluetooth keyboard, or
another bluetooth-device (phones or computers)

Can you try to unpair it with those devices?

Yup,

That worked - thank you very much - I thought I was going insane!

Is there any workaround if you do want a paired device?

Will the same problem occur with a bluetooth headset as well?

Cheers

Rich

I have multiple headsets connected with no problems.. I have read a
solution on the forums of modaco.com..

Fix: Change the HasKeyBoard DWORD to 0 at:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell and reboot your phone. My
thinkoutside bluetooth keyboard still works and I have numbers instead of
letters.

So get at registry editor and fix it yourself :)
