Windows Media Player 10 mobile won't play music files...? Vava 08-22-2007

Ever since I tried to install a new media player in my HTC S621 smartphone, I
can no longer play my music files (both from my phone and my storage card).
I think I may have associated all music files to the new media player, and
even though I uninstalled it immediately after, my Windows Media Player
Mobile 10 still won't recognize music (mp3) files. Anyone...?
Thanks

I'm not sure if this will help, it won't help trying. Locate these two
folders on your device: MSMetadata and WMdrm and delete them. Restart
your device and try again.

I did delete those folders, but it didn't help. I also noticed that I can
actually listen to the music files, but only when I access them via the
library/playlist.

thanks

Did you perform a soft reset after removing the other media player?
