Is there a way to speed up the fast forward. I listen to large media files
(netlibrary books) which are not bookmarke and when i restart the phone I
have to start the book from the beginning. Thanks for any input.

No not really, there are other players that will bookmark but they do not
play DRM files (or at least I am not aware of any) This seems like a simple
thing to program. I use the audible player (audible.com) and it is a
derivative of the wma player and it bookmarks on exit and you start where you
left off (great feature) but it only works with Audible files - sigh. . ..
