has anyone managed to get this to work?

I couldnt install the windows media connect 2.0 software on Vista Beta 2 and
am under the impression that its built in to vista? I this correct?

If so how do I get it to work?

Ive given up on the media center aspect of vista beta 2 for now as Ive been
told that this doesnt currently work with UK Xbox 360's?

If there is no way to stream music and pics to the 360 though I may have to
go back to good ol XP for now as I use the 360 heavily to output all my pc
music through my surround sound system :/

Any advice would be appreciated :)

I'm also experiencing this problem, so any help would be much appreciated.

It seems only US version XBox 360's can connect to Vista Beta build 5384???

Xbox 360 Extenders only work in Region 1 with Vista Beta 2.

Microsoft plans on opening up extender functionality to other regions later
on during the beta.

I've written up more info about this on my blog.

Windows Media Connect is integrated into Windows Media Player 11 (which is
installed with Vista) as "Library Sharing."

To open it, open Windows Media Player, and mouse over the Library button.
Click the smaller button with the down arrow to open the menu and click
Library Sharing.

Hope this helps :)
