Is this the proper discussion group for Windows Live Toolbar issues?

I had the MSN Toolbar and most of the add-ins installed, including the
Windows Search and Windows Live Favorites add-ins. I installed the Windows
Live Toolbar today. I figured it would leave the MSN Toolbar and add-ins
untouched. Instead, upon reboot, the MSN Toolbar had disappeared and the
Windows Live Toolbar was in its place.

I've since configured the Windows Live Toolbar with the same add-ins I had
with the MSN Toolbar...and a few additonal add-ins. However, when I click the
'Download and Install' for Windows Live Favorites, the progress bar goes to
about 50% and then disappears but Live Favorites does not install. In
addition, the Live Favorites choice remains in the list of eligible install
add-ins.

I've deleted the contents of my %temp% folder, but the Live Favorites add-in
still won't install. How can I get the Live Favorites add-in installed in the
Windows Live Toolbar?

You are in the right place. The Windows Live Toolbar is an update to the MSN
Toolbar. The Live Favorites plug in was also refreshed. Are you downloading it
from this link?
http://favorites.live.com/

I haven't had a chance to install this yet and don't know if others are
experiencing the same problem, but if I find anything out, I'll post back.

Installed last night after posting this reply. Upon install, it offered to do
all the add-ins. I selected the Live Favorites, which was there previously, and
the install completed. When IE launched, all of the addins were there except the
Live Favorites one! Trying to install it again gave me an error that it was
already installed.
I uninstalled just the Live Favorites add-in from Add/Remove Programs in COntrol
Panel and then installed the add-in again. It took a restart of IE, but the
toolbar now included the add-in.
