I have a Windows 2003 Single Mode AD. There has never been a Windows 2000
server on this network. I am having an issue on several Windows XP boxes. I
add it to the domain, reboot, and when I bring up the login screen it says,
in the "log on to:" pull down it lists the "COMPUTERNAME", and "MYDOMAIN
(Windows 2000)". Does anyone know why it says (Winndows 2000), if this causes
any problems, and how to fix it?

It doesn't happen on all my machines, it seems fairly random and only
occassional. I have tried removing and re-adding the machine to the domain
and it won't go away. If I reinstall, it might go away.

This is a really hard one to google!

TIA, Phil.
