I have a win 2003 R2 machine installed for a client. Initially user A was not
granted the correct permission to a particular folder. After setting Full
Control to the folder, user A was able to modify the contents of the files
within the folder.

However, after half a day, the server suddenly stopped granting write access
to user A for that folder. Looking at 'System Tools --> Shared Folders
-->Open Files' under Computer Management, I notice that the 'Open Mode' for
file is 'Read' only and not 'Read + Write' as should be the case.

Is there a reason for this and how do I resolve it?
