Passthrough is the Activesync ability to share its connection to a Windows
Mobile device. If this is your intention, then yes. By default it should
work by simply connecting the Pocket PC (the MDA Vario is not a Smartphone)
to your PC and it will be ready to use the Internet.
But if you want to use it wirelessly, then you have to use a Wi-Fi card on
your PC, and configure it as an ad-hoc network.
Really, better use a wi-fi router instead, less configuration problems...
