Actually, this site may be more useful

They state the lawsuit has been settled, but no information
on the settlement is yet available. I'm not interested in
any financial compensation, first because I don't have a
V710 yet, but mostly because that does not solve the
problem. I hope the settlement includes an agreement that
Verizon will no longer block BT on the V710.

Please log in for more thread options No, as far as I know nobody in the world has been successful or even
has any useful information.
It works nicely with my PowerBook via BT though, so it's not disabled.
And Palms will work via BT with Cingular service on a V551, which is
essentially the same phone.
