I hope this is the right forum.

Is it possible to have a Win2K server outside a firewall and have it join a
domain inside a firewall? If so, which port(s) would need to be opened to
do so? I had someone ask me this question and I'm not quite sure how to
answer them.

TIA

Matt

Yes it is possible though you have to open a lot of holes in the firewall or
better yet do it through an ipsec tunnel or VPN connection. The link below
shows the ports/protocols used. --- Steve
