Hello,

as I had not that much luck using Outlook 2002 (which came with
my mobile: HTC S310) on my new Vista32 system, I tried a test
version of Outlook 2003 and it works with no problem. So now I
need to buy a new Outlook version, and as there also already is
version 2007 around (which I don't want to install no trial of,
I'm already working with the data and I'm fearful of later
downgrade issues), I'm unsure what version I should buy.

Are there advantages of Outlook 2007 over 2003?

My usage of Outlook is for appointments and contacts, not for
e-mail. I also have Jeyo Mobile Extender installed for SMS.

Thanks,
Thorsten

I had the same decision to make recently and after reading
a lot of complaints over 2007 (coupled with the low price
of 2003) I went with 2003. I think I got it for under $80.

There is a Office 2007 60 days trial available from Microsoft:

If it comes to which version is better - hard to say. I've upgraded to 2007
half a year ago or so and I quite happy with the new features, etc.
