Every day at 7:30 am, my HP HES with Windows Media Center comes out of
Standby (turns itself on). I cannot find where this setting is and assume it
is so Media Center can update the Guide. I have looked through the Windows
settings and cannot find anything set that would do this.

My main concern is that I have to manually put the system back in Standby
everyday and when I am gone for several days, the system stays on.

Does anyone know where this setting is configured and can I also set a time
to put the unit back in standby?

Tom

To change the time of day for guide downloads, try the
"Guide Time" utility available at:

www.thegreenbutton.com/downloads.aspx

To configure your PC to automatically go into standby
after a specified period of inactivity, go to:

Control Panel -> Power Options -> Power Schemes
