Hi!

I usually work with raster files in MrSID format.

This files can be grouped in a mosaic, to ensemble all the aerial
photos
and MrSID has two types of mosaic : Composite and Flat Mosaic.

My question is ... What's the diference between them?
Is better a flat mosaic? Is more efficient?

The creation of a flat mosaic is slower than the creation of a
composite mosaic, I don't know the benefits of the use of flat
mosaics.

I hope somebody can help me. Really thanks!

Bye!

Lluís

P.D: Sorry for my bad english!
