Hi,

The SDA manual says:

"Use only the provided Mini-SD (Secure Digital) card in your
phone to store images, video, music, and other device data."

Has anyone put another MiniSD card in their SDA? Do you know what the
max size is that it will support? 1GB? 2GB?

Thanks!
John

I'm using a SanDisk 1 GB; works like a charm. Others have reported using 2
GB mini SDs, also with success...

Thanks for your reply! 2 GB is still probably too expensive for me.
I'll try and find a good deal on a 1GB.

I'm looking forward to being able to watch videos on my SDA.

If you want to watch videos you should go for 2GB, as videos take up much
space.

Not expensive now, available for $70-80.

How do you create video files for your SDA?

I have a Media Center PC that records SD and HD programs in the
(stupid) dvr-ms file format. I extract the dvr-ms files to mpeg2 files.
I use VideoReDo to remove the commercials. I use Canpos ProCoder to
convert the mpeg2 files to DivX format and I watch them on my PocketPC.
A half-hour show is about 70MB. I have an "AT" job that runs at 2am and
2pm to convert all my MCE recordings. It keeps my CPU busy. :-)

I'm hoping to use the same process for my SDA once I get a decent size
memory card. I don't think the SDA will play DivX, though. Do you know?
