For mission critical stuff in the UK I recommend Net Benefit. Though that
may simple be because I've not had any sites hosted with Verio. It sounds
like they are much alike.
It's a question of what you need. A good cheap hosting company will give
you excellent service but won't be able to afford the fail safes that a
more expensive service should include. However if you don't need 100%
uptime etc then you are better off with a cheaper host.
In other words hosting costs whatever it takes to get what you need.
