I recently built a new system with XP media center 2005 that randomly pops up
a window saying "autoplay" with a green status bar below like its scanning a
drive for about 20~25 seconds then dissappears. This has nothing to do with
the DVD drive or when a DVD s inserted into the drive, it just happens
randomly. When the client is typing his email, or running his quicken, or
just looking at pictures from his camera. I shut off a lot of program from
loading at startup and it seemed to stop the problem, but it started doing it
again a few days later.

This my first Media center buid an didn't know if there was some funky issue
that I'm not aware of.

Core2 Duo 6300
TV tuner
7 & 1 card reader (foxconn)
2 Gb ram

I'm wondering of the card reader is the issue....

Any thoughts....???

thanks
