I noticed that the most impressive logos you display and claim as
clients don't actually show up anywhere in your portfolio.

Sounds like a lot of work for someone just to find out how much you are
willing to pay.

"We are not a fluffy creative agency whose purpose is to produce flashy
graphics and websites."
Perhaps, but your site designs say otherwise.

Like so many companies that claim to be professional, your own
site belies that claim.

The first thing I noticed was a block of text that was too small
to be legible. What? Text in an image? You must be kidding!

Moving down the page, I saw this:
Did you forget to specify a background colour?

Where are your links to other parts of the site? Oh, they're
at the bottom of the page. That's a funny place for them.

The "Contact Us" link wraps and "Us" is jammed up against, and
almost overlapping, the "Marketing" link. That's usually a sign of
a fixed-width site ... sure enough, if my window is less than
1100px wide, there is a scroll bar.

Going back to the top, I see there is a glob of flash. OK, let's
look at it ... <twiddle...twiddle> ... I see what I suppose are
links, but they are too small for me to read.

I'd fire whoever coded the site.

Maybe that's why they're looking for a new body. :)

Yes, but -- and this is important -- could you do it in perfect English?

Pondering the value of the UIP: http://improve-usenet.org/
And thinking that the 500-word sample of writing should be a site
critique...
