Hi, the Weather add-in worked fine for a day, then disappeared. No amount
of uninstalls, reinstalls, repairs or reboots will bring it back, and it no
longer appears in the MSN Toolbar options so I can't turn it back on.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks.

Same exact problem for me. Probably a bug, but there does not seem to be a
fix yet. No support either. I attempted to open a case on it, but here is the
reply I received:

Thank you for writing to MSN Toolbar Technical Support. We apologize for the
delayed in our response.

This is Emer and I understand the MSN Weather add-in does not display on
your MSN Search Toolbar. I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused
you.

There is currently no additional support offered for the Add-ins for the MSN
Search Toolbar and Windows Desktop Search. As help information becomes
available for Microsoft created Add-ins, we will post them to our online help
page:

http://search.msn.com/docs/toolbar.aspx

For third party Add-ins, we do not provide support, but the links "More
information" for each third party Add-in will take you to the third party
site where you may request additional support.

There is also information for users looking into developing their own Add-in
for the MSN Toolbar. The information can be found at:

http://addins.msn.com/devguide.aspx

For filter assistance, please access:

http://channel9.msdn.com/wiki/default.aspx/Channel9.DesktopSearchIFilters

I have also included additional information on Add-ins. Please refer below:

MSN Search Toolbar Add-ins - Add-ins for MSN Search Toolbar allow you to
personalize your toolbar to bring the information you want to your computer
and help your stay connected with one-click access.

Windows Desktop Search Add-ins - Add-ins for Windows Desktop Search allow
indexing of even more file types and are automatically detected when
downloaded. New file types begin indexing as soon as they are downloaded.

You are valuable at MSN and we look forward to providing you with consistent
and effective service. If you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to
write back.

Sincerely,

Emer
MSN Toolbar Technical Support

Hello,

I cleaned out my temp folder (%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp) and
this fixed the problem for me.

Regards,
Wim
