Hi all,

I have finally been able to get my 2 MCE boxes to Share their recorded TV.
I added their network shares as watched folders, made a couple of other
tweaks from The Green Button forums and was able to uninstall the little
"Share Recorded TV" program. Great.

However, sometimes the newest recording take a VERY long time to show up in
the other MCE box's Recorded TV list.

So, my question is this: how often does the MCE box check 'watched folders'?
Can this be adjusted via the registry? What happens if connectivity between
the 2 boxes is lost briefly? Will it eventually re-check the watched
folders?

I feel that on a couple of occasions this may have occurred because I was
doing some rewiring of the home network and the 2 boxes lost contact for a
bit. Once reconnected, the newer recording never appeared - until after a
reboot.

How can I set the boxes up to do this themselves?

Thanks!

JS
