Hello,

Does anyone know of any software where one can enter a url for a
webpage and keyword(s) and then have it inform you when that keyword(s)
appears on the webpage? For example, if I wanted to be informed when
"ford explorer" appeared on www.carsforsale.com?

A combination of wget, grep (or similar), a command-line mailer, and your
operating system's scheduling daemon should do the trick nicely.

Google Alerts should be able to do that.
<http://www.google.com/alerts>

See if it will accept «"ford explorer" site:www.carsforsale.com» as a search
term.
