Thank you for helping me, but it didnīt work out. WMP was already the default
player for mp3, it simply couldīnīt play them.
When opening a mp3 file directly...
-> http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/erdnuckel/step1_auswaehlen.jpg
... an error occurred which said "The file couldnīt be played. Maybe the
file is corrupted or the player doesnīt support the desired format" (original
in german)
-> http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/erdnuckel/step2_hinweis.jpg
... and the player, of course, was quiet.
-> http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a168/erdnuckel/step3_wmp_fehler.jpg
The funny thing is/was that although the player didnīt play these files
directly,
it was able to play them from its media library.
Anyway, I decided to restore the manufacturers settings on my device, which
meant to start allover again. But it was worth it. Now everything is fine.
