Hello,

i have problems with the WMDC. While the windows explorer sees my mobile
phone (possible to browse), the wmdc does not do anything except keeping to
estagblish a connection and saying "Error" after a couple of minutes. I read
all the hints and tips here and didnt get a solution.

Some more Tips for me?

Hi,
Did you setup your software firewall to allow WMDC to connect?

Hi Fred,

Try opening the following ports and see if that works for you. These ports
are needed for WMDC to function properly.

Inbound TCP:

· 990

· 999

· 5678

· 5721

· 26675

Outbound UDP:

· 5679

You may want to attempt to update your Microsoft Windows Remote
Adapter Driver
With your device connected, go to Device manager, then look under
Network Adapters, look for
Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adapter (double-click)
go to the Driver tab, then click Update Driver.

I believe the newest driver was created on 1/24/07, but I think many
systems shipped from OEM with a driver created in 6/24/06
