WMDC: Windows Mobile Device Center Not Launching scottcmarsh 10-24-2007

 WMDC has been working ok on this new laptop (with Vista Ultimate) until today
when it stopped launching. Sometimes I click on it and it does nothing, other
times I click and I get the splash screen for a bit before it does nothing.
The only post I found with a solution was for people that had been beta
testing the program (and I even tried the solution and nothing changed for
me). Anyone know why it stopped working? Thanks

Try to re-install.

I tried re-installing a couple times and it didn't help

Hi,

Experienced something similar once but in my case a restart of the PC seemed
to solve it. I guess you would have already done that. Has there been any
change to your computer recently like installation of a new software? Also
curious to know if the Event Viewer shows any error information?
