RHi guys,
I Installed Windows Vista on my notebook, and also Office 2007, and WMDC.
When I connect my Ipaq H3850 with WM2003, my device is recognize and Compaq
Ipaq USB Sync, but doesn't apear any Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote
Adapter. The services Windows Mobile 2003-based device connectivity and
Windows Mobile-based device connectivity are started.
Did I forget some step?
Thanks a lot

Hi Steven,
If you are using a Windows Mobile 2003 device, you will not be using the
Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote Adatper (RNDIS). Instead, you will be using
a serial driver. When you connect your device, you will see the node "Mobile
Devices" in Device Manager with a "Microsoft USB Sync" entry underneath.
Hope that answers your question.
Thanks,
Jane

Please log in for more thread options Jane,
Hi again,
Well, in my case, device manager reports a unknown devices (the PNP DEVICE
ID is UMB\UMB&841921D&0&ACTIVESYNCWPDENUMERATOR), and when I start WMDC,
doesn't found any device to connect.
