I'll give those programs a go to see if I can discern what's eating my
memory. I can see from my phone's info that of the 39.43MB storage available
I'm using 93.71% and of the 43.86MB program memory I'm using 97%. Sure
doesn't leave much room for anything else now does it?

I have installed MemMaid and it tells me that /Windows has 93.42MB worth of
data. I've already used this tool to move the IE Cache Folder to the Storage
Card. I also relocated the /My Documents (currently empty) to the storage
card.

I called T-Mobile to ask them about relocating program files to the Storage
Card. I mentioned to them that they hadn't bothered to send out an install
disk with all of the operating system and misc files on it. They were
surprised that I'd even ask for this. Their response is that the files are
all needed on the phone itself (not on the SD) and that they're "on the
phone already" should I need to do a hard reset.

There's got to be a way to hack the registry to relocate some of these files
permanently. For instance, I'm sure that my cut/paste job of moving /My
Documents over to the SD is only temporary and that the OS will ignore what
I've done unless I tell it via the registry to look to the SD specifically.
Correct?

Mighty damn frustrating! I've moved over to this device after 4 years of
using a Blackberry. While the BB had its shortcomings the one thing I liked
about it is that it always worked. Never had to "soft reboot" or do anything
special. It just worked. This Windows device has the same problems I see
with my PC from time to time: it simply stops responding for no apparent
reason!
