Hi all,

we have a problem with WM6 and ActiveSync via Direct Push Technology
from Exchange.

We have this Hard- and Software:

Mobile Phone ASUS P750 mit Windows Mobile 6 (CE OS 5.2.1623 (Build
18129.0.4.5))
ActiveSync 4.5

Direct Push with Exchange Server 2003 SP2 and ISA
Server 2004 SP2.

Every 2-3 days comes this error on the mobile phone:

There has been a change made on your server that requires you to re-
synchronize all items on your device. All changes made since your
last
successful sync will be lost. Do you wish to continue?

Support code 0x80883001

WM5 mobile phones are not having this problem.

Hardwareresets are not solving the problem.

Just any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Anastasia

Hi,
Is your configuration using a locally signed cert? Did you configure ISA
Server to the longer timeout?

Hi Chris,

yes, its a locally certificate from the Exchange Server and the RootCA
in our LAN.
The timeout is set to a longer time too.

Any ideas?

Cheers, Anastasia

Hi,
Are all the Windows Mobile 6 devices the same? Does it occur when a user
with a WM5 phone upgrades?

Hi Chris,

we have only one WM6 device. The error does not occur when the same
user
uses a WM5 device.

I think it=B4s a new Microsoft problem with WM6 or with ActiveSync?

More ideas?

Thanks, Anastasia
