 I used Data Bacup and Back up all data. After restore, I cannot use open
password under setting. And when the Axim x51 powers on, it doesn't prompt
for password.

 Hi,
ActiveSync does not offer the ability to backup Windows Mobile 5.0 devices.
Are you using the built in rom backup utility to backup to a flash card?
