Hi guys,

I know I'm not the first one to mention this, but I haven't found any
reasonable reply to the above problem on the net.

Intro:

MS Exchange 2003 SP1, HTC TyTN with WM2005 device, syncrhonization
over wireless (or even connected to ActiveSync, but with remote
Exchange server - the result is the same), using SSL, certs installed.
Used to sync perfectly fine. We can't figure out what was changed on
the Exchange that made it stop (if anything at all!).

So Calendar, Contacts and E-Mail used to sync perfectly fine. Then,
one day, the above error (0x86000108) started to appear. Since then, we
rebuilt one PDA (hard reset, then all settings manually from the start)
- still the same problem. Limited sync only to E-Mail, only to those
below 0.5, without attachments for the last 1 day - same problem. Tried
syncing Calendar/Contacts in all different combinations with and
without E-Mail - same problem. Here is a tiny part from the logs, that
shows that the message count is obtained correctly (GetItemEstimate
command), but when it comes to Sync command, status 5 is returned - and
that's it.

Anyone having the same problem? Any suggested resolutions?

Deleting e-mails and moving them somewhere else would only be the very
last resort - it is too valuable/dangerous/disruptive...

Thanks in advance!

Maksym

Admin at our organisation just rebooted the front-end exchange - the
problem seemed to have gone away.

Weird!
