Recently it has been getting harder and harder to sync my PDA with the
laptop..
nothing has changed in software or hardware..
using wireless network on the laptop (has never interfered before)

The problem - activesync starts and states connecting... with the green
wheel spinning..
-> it doesn't get to the sync part...

Setup - using outlook 2002 / win xp / imate jasjar with wm2005 / activesync
4.1 / vet antivirus / windows firewall

-> i have installed/uninstalled activesync... soft reset the device..
checked outlook pst file.. the firewall is configured for activesync..
antivirus has been running all along... any suggestions ?????

It looks as though the device is connecting and disconnecting, at a
peripheral glance of your logs. Can you try disabling the firewall?
Also, try plugging the device into a different USB port.

Check that the checkbox to allow a USB connection is set, on both the PC and
device.
