At certain times in the day I notice that there are multiple network names
in network neighborhood. I was wondering if there is a way I can find out
where these are coming from. They are not any names that are used in the
organization and I'm wondering if there is a way to track them down in WINS
or some tool to do it. I cannot get into any of them to see any computers
inside. Any tools/tips would be greatly appreceated. Thanks

Hello Andy,

Seems for me that someone connect machines to network and you see the workgroup
names they are using.

Best regards

Yes, I understand this however, I, unfortunatly, have multiple sites and
child company's via WAN and VPN and I am also using frame lines. These
'ghost' networks that show up are definitly not suppose to be coming from
any of these places because we manage these networks. I would like to find
out where these 'ghost' names are coming from so I can see if there is a
problem with the frame lines or one of the remote sites has connected
something they should not have.
