WDS returns NO results all the time! Gordon 06-05-2006

 I have Windows desktop search installed, set to index email and all HDDs. It
has finished indexing. If I select the option for All Locations, and choose
Documents, and type in the name of a document that I have just verified is
in
the My Documents folder, Windows desktop search returns NO, ZERO, ZILCH
results! What is the matter with it?

 Not very helpful, perhaps, but I'm experiencing the same thing. I have
checked that it does in fact index something, as the index files grow, but
searches finds nothing on any search term and any location.

Worthless.

Was an MDAC problem in my case. Reinstall Windows XP SP2, and WDS starts to
work.
