I have WDS 2.06.0000.2083

The issue I have is when doing a web search, it opens IE and doesn't
send it to msn. For example, when I search for test, it opens
http:///?%20test
and i get a "page cannot be displayed"
I have a Group policy and it is set to MSN which updates these registry
keys:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\MSN Apps\MSN
Toolbar\Search]
"SearchService"=dword:0000000d
"SearchServiceCode"="en-us"
"OtherSearchURL"="http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=$w"

Are those correct?

My feature request:
I don't like the search bar on my task bar. Instead, I'd like it as a
toolbar in outlook that defaults to searching only outlook.

Thanks!
Jesse

Because you are getting the "?%20test" it would lead me to believe you have
a space somewhere after the ? and before test.
This could be the root of the issue...

Hope this helps.
