WDS crashes Outlook every time I receive an email!!! SerGioGio 04-20-2006

 Hello,

Windows Desktop Search 02.05.0001.1119 crashes my Outlook XP 2002
10.2627.6714 SP3 *every time* a new email is received.
Note that my outlook is not connected to an Exchange server, but to a plain
old POP3 server.
Here is what I get from EventLog: Faulting application outlook.exe, version
10.0.2627.1, faulting module oleaut32.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, fault
address 0x00004ba4.

Note that the problem occurs every time -> 100%.
Any suggestions?

 Same happens here since I installed MSN toolbar, but only at deleting files
(100%)

Please log in for more thread options
faulting module oleaut32.dll << Outlook file. You may want to think about
repairing Outlook... It's possible that another application/plug-in
replaced this file with another version that's conflicting.

Another thing that would be a huge step forward would be to install the
latest version of WDS 2.6.5.0000.1119 is old. :)
